Hi my name is Sarah,

I have been working as a PA now for 3 years and I love every aspect of my role. I always pride myself on giving the best support I can and always make sure I give a 100%

I am a good listener and also like to have a lovely chat with a cup of tea!

I enjoy walking, going to cafes, restaurants and socialising.

I realise although I would like to care for myself, I am grateful for all the help they give me.
I’m finding it not easy to adjust after being so independent for so long.
They all have interesting personalities I am learning a lot about the younger generation and hopefully they are learning more about my generation.

We were delighted with the standard of care she provided. This included day to day tasks at home, meals for Peter and joining him to complete activities eg. jigsaws. Sarah also took Peter out for a coffee and a walk, which benefitted him enormously.

Sarah has a lovely, warm manner and relates easily to people. Before working with P, she took care to listen to what we were looking for and made sure she used the right approach with him. She was kind, thoughtful and took time to involve him in decision making. P really enjoyed having Sarah to support him and looked forward to her visits. He perked up in her company and we often saw him at his happiest when she was there.

Sarah was very good at keeping us informed about P and his wellbeing. This meant we were always in the picture about how he was and what had been completed in the home.

With Sarah’s assistance and support, P was able to remain in his home for much longer than would have been the case without her.

We would like to say a big thank you to Sarah and the staff at Calibre for all their kindness and all they do to support families.
