Sam

About me

Hi, my name is Sam and I’ve been working in the care sector for my entire adult life. I have 17 years experience and have worked in a variety of settings with lots of different client groups. I have worked in residential homes as well as in the community. I have vast experience with learning and physical disabilities and those with complex health care needs.

I am a very happy, positive person and pride myself on my caring and friendly nature. I am very enthusiastic in everything I do and am always happy to get stuck in and try new things. I am a quick learner and can work well under pressure.

I am happy to support people in any aspect of care but am particularly passionate about supporting people to live life to the fullest. I love to support people to participate in fun activities both indoors and out in the community. I have previously worked as an activity co-ordinator in a residential home where I was responsible for planning and implementing parties, trips out and all kinds of activities. I absolutely loved this role and thrived at it.

I am married with two beautiful children and a very cheeky cat. I am an animal lover, enjoy singing, reading and any kind of puzzle. I love getting outside, especially when it’s sunny and spending time with my boys.
