Our Story

A more considered, person-centred approach was born

Calibre Quality Care's founding principles are that individuals have complete choice and control of the care and support services used in their daily lives.

Calibre Quality Care was incorporated in January 2018 by Louise Mitchell. With over 25 years of relevant experience and qualifications, she has used this — previously establishing a respite unit, managing residential homes, and supporting mental health, learning disabilities and social care across the spectrum.

Every day, actively seeking to improve the lives of those in need in our communities and campaigning for their rights, Louise also brings together the whole team at Calibre Quality Care to do the same.

The heartbeat of Calibre Quality Care is not just about maintaining those visions and principles, but enhancing them and seeking new core values that sit equally alongside our founding ones. Care is ever changing, and your requirements likewise — and because of this, every day the whole team thrives to do better, for you.

Through assisting, enabling and reablement, we are a "one stop shop" for support.

Director & Co-Owner

As the Director of Calibre Quality Care, Louise brings over 25 years of experience to her role, with a deep commitment to delivering exceptional care. Her extensive background in the social care industry has shaped her passion for ensuring that every individual receives the highest standard of care. Under her leadership, Calibre Quality Care has flourished, driven by her unwavering dedication to quality and her belief in the profound impact that compassionate care can have on people’s lives.

Kyle Rankine

Co-Owner & Head of Introductory Care

Kyle has over three years of experience as an Office Coordinator, where he excels in managing day-to-day referrals and providing exceptional customer service. His role involves handling the intricate details of office operations, ensuring that referrals are processed efficiently and clients receive the support they need. His strong organisational skills and dedication to helping others have made him a key asset in creating a smooth and responsive office environment.
